蝦夷栗鼠　Ezorisu. Sciurus vulgaris orientis

This is the trace that squirrel ate.

The below squirrel phots are of Otofuke Shrine.

This is the trace that squirrl ate a pine nut.

We went to Obihiro from Nukabira hot spring and we stayed at the hotel near the Obihiro station. We observed the squirrel of shrine on the way to Obihiro.

In Hokkaidou. 17 Oct 08, Fryday.

We saw on the way to Hakunzan.

We went to a Hakuunzan　mountian entrance（白雲山） which is about an hour away from Nukabira youth hostel by car.

This railroad is not used now. But this railway track is a hiking route of 9 km now. I am interested in this route. If there is opportuniy I want to walk this route.

We had a hiking in Hakunzan. Than we returned from there to the Nukabira youth hostel. We stayed at there again.

In Hokkaidou. 16 Oct 08, Thursday.

We went to a Minami petoutoru Mountain which is about half an hour away from Nukabira youth hostel by car.

The moon of this day was very beautiful.
I went hiking to the Minami Petoutoru Mountian close by Shikaribetu Lake. Then I went to Pika's habitat area. And we went to Nukabira hot spring. We stayed at the Youth hostel of there. This youth hostel very comfortable. The bath was a hot spring. So cool.

Some pikas were here.I took some photos from my digital camera and here are some of them.

I flew from Haneda to Obihiro with my friend. It took about 1 hour 30 minutes . Then We went to Shikaribetu Lake to observation of Pika. 　It took 1 hour 30 minutes by rental car. 　Then We returned from there to the Obihiro. We stayed at hotel near the Obihiro Station

金木犀＆銀木犀

Kinmokusei. Fragrant orange-colored olive Ginmokusei. Osmanthus fragrans
I took these potos in my garden.
These flowers have the same sweet smell.

Fishing.

The place where we did fishing. 皮剥、 Kawahagi Thread-sail filefish. 石垣鯛　Ishigakidai. Spotted knifejaw.
I went to Jougasaki of Izu for fishing with my father and young brother last Thursday.

These fish is delicious.
But Ishigakidai may have ciguatera toxins. You have a own risk to eat this .

We had lunch in our friend's Unagiya(Lokal restaurant). It was delicious. I had a great time.
I went mushrooming in Izunagaoka of Shizuoka-ken with my frineds .
